I'd like to welcome you to my very first Blog. Will anyone read it? Who knows, but I want to have fun with it and allow some folks to follow along with me and my BBQ team for a fun filled 2009 season!
By now, you have probably noticed the name of From Sea to Shining Sea BBQ Tour. What does that mean? Well, that is where we will be competing this year. While we don't have our official 2009 schedule figured out, I can tell you that we will compete from California, to Florida to Maine and all points in between this year. We'll probably get another 5 or 6 new states off of our list of states to compete in...
Also this year, I am going to bring along my traveling Jack trophy with us this year for some good photo ops. His name is Jasper. I actually bought him off of eBay the year I won the Jack and brought him on our 2007 tour.. Until people started kidnapping him! Well, we have fixed that and had a GPS mounted in him, so we can tell exactly where he is at all times!!!
So hopefully you will follow along our 2009 BBQ season. I will do my best to at least attempt to do a weekly update. I will say that I am the worst for taking pictures, but maybe this will force me into doing a better job!
